ANSWERS TO FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How much will I save? You’ll receive a 20% program bill discount each month.

Can I opt out of the program? Once enrolled in the Local Green Saver Program, you will be required to remain in the program for 12 months. After 12 months, you can disenroll or opt-out of the program and your monthly bill discount will end within 1-2 billing cycles.

Will I still have electricity at night or when it is cloudy outside? Yes. You will still be connected to SCE’s power grid and have electric service to your home. Your electricity access will not solely depend on the solar system’s actual energy generation.

Will I still get an electric bill? Yes. The solar energy system will produce most of your electricity but not all of it. You will continue to receive your monthly bill in your preferred format (mail or online), and you will still need to make timely payments of your bill.

Will I have power during a blackout? The system does not operate on battery storage, so you will not have electricity during a blackout/
power outage.
